Welcome to Apna Taxi SaaS. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to all information collected through our website, Admin App, and Driver App.

2. Information We Collect

• Account Information: Name, Email, Phone Number, and Agency Name when you register.
• Location Data: We collect background and foreground location data from the Driver App to provide live tracking links to customers and calculate trip distances.
• Camera, Microphone & Storage (Including Background Access): We require access to your device's camera and local storage to allow you to upload photos and videos to the community social feed and share media in private chats. Additionally, we require access to your camera and microphone to operate the 'Safety Dashcam' feature. This feature records video and audio in the background (even when the app is minimized or the screen is locked) solely to serve as safety evidence for the driver during rides.
• Device Information: We collect information about the device you use to access our services (e.g., IP address, operating system).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to operate our platform, provide customer support, generate billing invoices, and ensure the safety and security of rides through live tracking capabilities. Media files and audio recordings are used to facilitate communication within the app's chat and social feed. Furthermore, the Safety Dashcam function uses background camera and microphone access strictly to provide on-trip security and evidence recording for the driver.

4. User Generated Content (UGC) Policy

Our platform includes a social feed and chat features where users can share content. We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content, hate speech, explicit media, or abusive behavior. Users have the ability to Report inappropriate posts and Block abusive users directly within the app. Any reported content will be reviewed promptly by our administration team, and violating accounts will be permanently suspended without notice.

5. Sharing Your Information & Data Security

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only share specific trip details (Driver Name, Vehicle No, and Live Location) with the end-customer via a secure tracking link generated by the Agency. All chat messages, voice notes, and social feed media are stored securely on encrypted cloud servers and are never shared with unauthorized third parties.
